Here are some notes as the New York Islanders (11-21-7) are on the road to take on the Minnesota Wild (20-15-5) in Sunday night NHL action.

NYI 1 vs. NJ 2

His streak is the fifth-longest consecutive game streak in Islander history (Billy Harris 576, Bob Nystrom 301, Matt Moulson 284, Denis Potvin 262,  John Tavares 246).
Point Streaks: Frans Nielsen (3g/2a) and Kyle Okposo (2g/3a) are on five game point streaks. Thomas Vanek is on a four game point streak (3g/2a).
