Sebastian touched on a variety of subjects including the next road match against San Antonio that will take place on October 26. The Cosmos (7-4-1) will get their second chance at the North American Soccer League Soccer Bowl against the Scorpions (3-1-8) on Saturday, but this time the guys will have to get a victory on the road.
A loss or a tie by the Cosmos that day will allow for the Tampa Bay Rowdies to stay alive in the NASL Soccer Bowl hunt. New York will be making their first visit to Texas since 1981 and the last time the team punched their ticket to the Soccer Bowl was in 1982.
These teams are very familiar with one another as they have met earlier this year at Shuart Stadium, with New York earning the 2-1 victory. Now the guys will have to win on the road, where in the 2013 fall season they have a 2-2-1 record.
