Eastern Conference Semifinals Game 3: Rangers v. Bruins 5/21

Here are some notes for those fans getting ready to watch Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinal series between the New York Rangers and the Boston Bruins. New York trails the series 2 games to 0 as what is sure to be an intense game will be played at Madison Square Garden tonight.

The Rangers hold a 11-2 record all-time in Game 3 when trailing 2-0 in the series, and are familiar with great comebacks after doing so against the Washington Capitals in the Quarterfinal game.

Rangers Recap:

The Rangers fell to the Bruins by the score of 5-2 in Game 2, which was played on May 19. Both teams traded a pair of goals through the opening 23:20 minutes, before Boston broke the game open by tallying three unanswered goals.

New York holds a 119-88-2 Playoff record at home, and will look to channel the energy of the Blueshirts faithful in tonight’s game.

Game 3 between the Rangers and the Bruins will be aired on the NBC Network, with face-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
