Mets to hold Charity Softball Game on June 18

Fans of the Mets and those helping out a great cause will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to do something special on June 18, as the team will be holding a charity softball game with proceeds going to the Fisher House Foundation.

Forty lucky fans will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play a game in the outfield of Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, while helping out a foundation that provides support to America’s military in their time of need.

Those purchasing tickets will have the day of their life, as they will have the opportunity to play softball alongside some true heroes in the Wounded Warrior Softball team, as well as having the chance to meet Mets greats John Franco and Dwight Gooden.

Afterward participants will receive prizes, enjoy a great meal and have a tour of Citi Field which includes the opportunity to stand in the Mets Clubhouse.
