McCourty Twins to hold Tackle Sickle Cell drive on Saturday

Jason and Devin McCourty have been able to build quite the football career thus far, the twin brothers, who once played for Rutgers University-now have found stardom in the NFL at the defensive back positions.

Devin who now plays for the New England Patriots and Jason, who is with the Tennessee Titans, have been able to obtain some pretty impressive stats thus far. Jason led all NFL cornerback in tackles this past season with the Titans, while Devin made the Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2011, while playing in the Super Bowl last year with the Patriots.

Now the brothers have joined forces to shine off the football field by tackling Sickle Cell, after seeing the devastating effects on family members. After finding the Embrace Kids Foundation, the twins were able to team with a non-profit organization that supports children and families battling Sickle Cell.

As a part of the Tackle Sickle Cell campaign, Devin and Jason are sponsoring three blood drives on Saturday, February 23, 2013 and will be making appearances in all three locations.
