Here are notes for those fans watching the Brooklyn Nets (19-15) taking on the Philadelphia 76ers (15-20) in NBA action, as the Nets are on the road for what is the 35 game in the regular season.
If the Nets win tonight it’d be the second consecutive victory over Philadelphia, while it mark the third consecutive road victory over the 76ers.
It’d also mark the longest road winning streak of the season (three games) while also extending the current winning streak to four games.
Brooklyn has been playing some great defense as of late holding 21 of their first 34 opponents under 100 points in regulation, while holding a 16-5 record in those games.
Last time the Nets were in action they recorded a 113-93 victory over the Sacramento Kings. In that outing center Brook Lopez netted a team-high 18 points with five rebounds and two blocks.
Among centers, Lopez is first in the NBA in scoring (18.9 ppg), while averaging 23.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.0 blocks.
Brooklyn thus far is averaging 101.8 points-per-game, which are 7.3 more than their season average. The Nets have also dominated on the boards, out rebounding their opponents 4.0 rebounds per-game (51.5 to 47.5) whereas the previous margin was +1.2 (50.0 to 48.8).
