The New York Rangers will continue a 19-year tradition with their annual Toys for Tots Drive, as the Blueshirts team with the United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program to collect toys for the children in the tri-state area.
Fans of the Rangers should mark their calendars for December 6th as the franchise will collect toys in the Theater Lobby at MSG from 5-7 pm. Expected to be on hand to interact with fans will be Adam Graves, Brian Leech, Rob Gilbert, Jeff Beukeboom, Ron Greschner and Dave Maloney who will all be sighing autographs for those donating toys.
Fans wanting to participate will have to bring in an unwrapped toy and in exchange all those donating will receive an autograph from a Rangers Legend.
In addition to the collection, there will also be various Rangers activities for donors to participate in, including hockey skills stations, face painting, caricaturist, balloon sculptors, Santa and more!
The traditional event will be held in the Theater Lobby at MSG, which is located on Seventh Avenue between 31st and 33rd Streets, which is the same as the Madison Square Garden main entrance.
In the last five years the Blueshirts have been able to collect almost 9,000toys, which have been distributed to children in need thanks to the fans!
