The New York Rangers (15-5-3) continue their red-hot play on the ice, rallying to win their fifth straight game in a 4-2 decision over the Tampa Bay Lightning (11-12-2) on Saturday night. Helping the Blueshirts in their second half comeback was Derek Stepan, who recorded the game-winning goal.
Stephan finished the game with two points, and a plus-one rating on the ice, coming back quickly from a swollen ankle from blocking a shot earlier on the year. The Blueshirts will return back home to Madison Square Garden for two games, before making a trip to Buffalo before hosting Florida on Sunday.
The Rangers are now 12-2-0 in its last 14 games, and will have a busy week ahead starting with a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday. New York will then take on the Tampa Bay Lighting on Thursday.
