Jay Pandolfo agrees to one-year deal with the Islanders

Veteran forward Jay Pandolfo agreed to a one-year deal with the New York Islanders today.  Pandolfo attended Training Camp on a tryout basis, has been rewarded with a contract with the Isles.

In five pre-season games, the forward recorded one assist with a plus-1 rating with the team. Jay looks to bring his Stanley Cup Winning experiences to a blend of youthful guys in the New York locker room this season.

Playing in 819 career NHL games, Pandolfo tallied 99 goals and 124 assists for 223 points, while also appearing in 131 Stanley Cup Playoff games. In crunch time the forward has recorded 33 points (11 goals, 22 assists).
