The New York Mets launched Anti-Bullying Campaign

It was announced by the New York Mets that they will start airing public service announcements in order to launch an anti-bullying campaign. The Mets will team up with www.stopbullying.gov to educate and support children about all forms of bullying. The PSA’s will begin airing today, during the games at Citi Field and on SNY.

Representing the Mets will be Jason BayChris CapuanoR.A. DickeyDaniel Murphy and David Wright, who all participated in tapings for the segment. The Mets stars teamed with the StopBullying.gov site to develop content to teach children the importance of this very important issue.

For 18 years the Mets have been a proud sponsor of the Student Athlete Leadership Conference series, and have been able to train athletes in the high school through elementary school levels to promote positive activities.
