Rangers’ prospects rock Day One of Traverse City

Saturday was Day One of the Traverse City Tournament the New York Rangers prospects rocked the St. Louis Blues by a final score of 5-2.

Tim Erixon, notched a goal and an assist, recorded the opening power play goal at the 5:11 mark of the first period. Carl Hagelin and Jonathan Audy-Marchessault also had a goal an assist for the Blueshirts.

Blake Parlett picked up three assists, while Ryan Bourque and Randy McKnaught tallied the other Ranges goals. Goalie Jason Missiaen finished the night with 18 saves.

The Blueshirts will continue the Tournament with a 6:00 p.m. meeting with the Dallas Stars prospect with the face off slated for 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11. The tournament will be aired on the MSG network.
