Rangers’ prospects fall short of Traverse City Championship

The New York Rangers’ prospects came one game short of winning the Traverse City Championship, as the Baby Blueshirts were denied their first title since 2007. The prospects did put up a good fight though, erasing a 2-0 deficit on goals by J.T. Miller and Ryan Bourque.

Bourque finished with a team-high four goals in the tournament, while Miller-the Blueshirts 2011 first round draft pick, scored twice in four games. Carl Hagelin and Christian Thomas both recorded the primary assist in the Championship game.
