The Brooklyn Cyclones (7-6, 32-46) conclude a six-game series against the Frederick Keys on 7/5/26, as fans are expected to see started Daviel Hurtado (4-1, 1.57 ERA) faces Caden Hunter (1-0, 1.71).
It is an intense series against the Keys, as the guys saw a five game wining streak come to an end on July 2.
After that they played to a very close 8-7 loss on July 3 and a 10-8 loss on July 4.

With the 10-8 result there was way more than just the score of the game, as the guys were able to rally from six to get themselves into the game, but it was the Keys bats finding the right moments and runs to get them the victory.
If the Cyclones were able to get a victory today, they would be able to split the six-game road trip and head back to Brooklyn with momentum.
Hurtado was recently named to the MiLB Pitcher of the Week. and leads the SAL in ERA (1.57), batting average against (.134), and WHIP (0.60) and is tied for the league in games started (7) and wins (4) and is fifth in innings pitched (34.1).
Overall the pitching staff has a ton to be proud of as the starters were able to strike out 66 batters in the series against Jersey Shore. During the month of June the team was able to have a 3.66 ERA and that is the best mark in the SAL since May 14.
One of the bats that is impressing is Mitch Voit as he is becoming a force in the top of the team’s batting order. In the game against Frederick on Wednesday, he was able to launch his 10th homer, and in the last 29 games he has the following stats .276/.403/.474/.877 with 28 runs scored, five doubles, six homers, 18 RBI, 19 walks, 26 strikeouts, and 14 stolen bases.
It’ll be on June 7 that the Cyclones start a six-game homestand against the Wilmington Blue Rocks and the first game starts at 6:40 p.m.
