The 2026 MLS Season is finally here and the Red Bulls of New York are ready for the first test of the year.
Going against Orlando SC and seeing how Head Coach Michael Bradley is going to lead the team is going to be the theme of the day, when the action between these two rivals starts at 7pm.
Here are some pieces of good news for the team as they face Orlando, all together the Red Bull are unbeaten in their five matches against Orlando across all competitions.
When playing at Inter&Co Stadium, New York has a 5-5-3 record.
In addition to Coach Bradley fans are going to see Jorge Ruvalcaba and Cade Cowell possibly making an impact with the team in the first match of the year.
Dennis Gjengaar was a key part to the team seeing a 2-2 tie in the match that was played on March 15, 2025.
The biggest shift for the franchise is the fact that the goalkeeper position is going to be up for grabs with AJ Marcucci, Aidan Stokes and Ethan Horvath, John McCarthy all vying for time as a part of the team’s defensive unit.
The Red Bulls are looking forward to seeing what German Center Robert Voloder can do, as the start of his three-year contract is underway.
Voloder is coming to New York with prior MLS experience after seeing time with Sporting Kansas City. While with the club he made 78 appearances and recorded one goal and one assist.
We are proud to bring the following video interview with Robert from the team’s media day:
