Boxing is one in where the landscape of fights can happen at any second and in any moment.
The folks at Premier Boxing Champions having delayed the October 25th fight night because of the injury to Sebastian Fundora made sure to bring a card that fans would be pleased by.
And boy did they just do that as there is going to be history made in Texas.
What fans are going to look forward to is the fact that there is going to be a Middeweight Unification bout as Erislandy Lara takes on Janibek Alimkhanuly.
Alimkhanuly is a name creating a ton of positive buzz in the sport of boxing as of late, as the current WBO and IBF Middleweight World Champ maybe on the path to take on Terence Crawford.
Crawford put himself on a path to extend his legacy in boxing by making it very known to fans and journalist alike that he would like to face Janibek in his next bout.
Alimkhaunly though is going to have a tough test to face first though in taking on Lara, with his 31-3-3 record and a career that spans over 16 years.
Lara most recently beat Danny Garcia in September 2024, while Janibek was able to KO Anauel Ngamissengue in April 2025.
In addition there are going to be a total of three world title fights and that is a rare occurrence in the sport of fighting.
The one fight that boxing fans have been clamoring for is that of Stephen Fulton Jr. versus O’Shaquie Foster.
There has been many delays to Fulton and his move up in weight class to take on Foster.
That was a topic that was debated upon during the PBC Media Session Zoom that took place in the later parts of the afternoon as the fighters on the under cards all spoke about what to exepect on December 6.
Foster was in the Metropolitan area as he defeated Robson Conceicao in November 2024, and Abraham Nova in Feb 2024.
That fight against Nova was the most recent one and was a split decision victory.
As for Fulton the vision of becoming a three-division world champion is so close to becoming a reality and all that is left is for the fight night on December 6th to happen and to be able to figure how to defeat Foster in order to make that vision a reality.
PBC also brought in Jesus Ramos (23-1) and Shane Mosley, Jr. (22-4) to talk about the 160-pound clash that is expected to steal the show as well.
That all leads up to the Main Event of Isaac Cruz (28-3-1) taking on Lamont Roach, Jr. (25-1-2).
There is going to be a ton on the line for Roach as he is looking to be a two-division world champion.
As for Cruz he is someone that can be the next major face of Mexican boxing. The people of Mexico are looking for someone to step on up in the big time moments and help them to regain the glory in the sport of boxing and Isaac can do that with a victory against Lamont.
Here are some of the highlighted Questions and Answers from the Zoom Media Session that the folks at PBC held on Tuesday:

Jesus Ramos (23-1) v Shane Mosley Jr (22-4)
For Mosley this is the first fight since getting himself to a five fight winning streak.
Jesus Ramos:
Q: On Shane Mosley Jr.
“Yeah he (Mosley Jr) is a tough opponent and he has a ton of experience and that he is a hard worker and that he is dedicated.”
When it comes time for regaining Championship Glory Mosley had this to say:
Being able to be in this fight is one of the biggest parts of my career. I am just going to focus on this fight and then allow for the Championships and other opportunities come after that but overall I am super thankful.”
For Ramos he is from Casa Grande, AZ and always represents where he is from and having a chance to bring a Championship belt is something meaningful to him
Here is what Ramos had to say on the opportunity:
“Hopefully it’ll be a dream come true, it means a lot to everyone in his hometown. There is pressure to be able to represent Casa Grande but it is good pressure and it is because of things like that to motivate me and do well in being able to represent where I am from.”
When it comes time for what the fight of the night is going to be Ramos feels as if he and Mosley Jr. have what it takes to capture fans attention:
“We are going to steal the show and there is going to be fireworks on December 6th that is for sure!
In the quest to become the Three Division World Champion, Philadelphia-native Stephen Fulton clashed with Texas-native O’Shaquie Foster verbally when it came time for getting this much anticipated fight to happen.
Both fighters were excited to see this fight happen and Foster also expressed his feelings saying:
“I am glad things are happening this fight was supposed to happen a few times now for sure they are happening and I am glad that we are fighting in December.”
Ever since the fight between Fulton and Foster got announced the verbal tension could be felt and O’Shaquie shared his thoughts as to his mentality with the sparring
“When it comes time for fights we wants to win. Foster is trying to take something off of my plate by winning my championship and I am going to dominate and defend that championship.”
When it came time to as to why the delay the verbal war continued between the duo, but Foster showing confidence in his being able to do well in December stated that
“Fulton made a mistake taking the fight..cause I am going to dominate!”
Having a hometown crowd advantage against Fulton, Foster is no stranger to San Antonio as he previously fought Ray Vargas to a split decision victory.
This time thought things are going to be different for Foster as he has this message to the fans:
“To my fans on December 6th hope you all tune in to this fight as you all going to have a great show and I am going to dominate the fight!”
When it comes time for
Janibek Alimkhanuly taking on Lara…the Kazakh-native had this to say
“I am looking forward to December 6th.”
For Janibek he had this to say on going up against Lara:
“I want to thank Lara for taking this fight it is a big honor to fight a guy like him, he is a champion in two divisions, and he is a good fight it is going to be an honor to share a ring with him.”
For Either opponent but mostly for Alimkhanuly, because of the fact that he is fighting so well he is on a path to hopefully face Crawford and he had these thoughts on that:
“It is going to be a good fight and he is ready …(Crawford possibly eventually).”
As for Lara he had these thoughts to share on the fight:
“I am focued on December 6th and I am not thinking about anything else. I am going to do the best I can on December 6th and see what happens from there.”
For Lara being able to come from Cuba and being a two-division champion is something that is meaningful to him and he reflected on that by saying:
“Boxing is everything to me, and I am motivated to climb the ladder and reach the top and it is for my family and legacy and I wants to showcase that I am on the top of my game.”
