With Garcia having what is billed as his last match at the Barclays Center, the final fight against Daniel Gonzalez a four round KO, there were some other memorable moments that led to what is billed as the Farewell to Brooklyn fight.

Shortly after all the emotions and passion Danny expressed for his victory as he went to the corner rope to celebrate his victory along with celebrating by walking around the ring as well…one of those moments captured by Maria-Isabelle Parada seen below:

There was his debut fight in Brooklyn on October, 2012 where he got to be a part of the first boxing event in the Borough in 81 years.

Amazingly enough in that fight he was able to KO Erik Moralez in the Fourth Round as well, that was the start of ‘Swift’ capturing the hearts of those in Brooklyn.

Some of the other KO’s Garcia has in Brooklyn includes Paulie Malignaggi on August 1, 2015, and Rod Salka on August 9, 2014.

Garcia was able to for sure capture the hearts and attention of many, and one boxing journalist in Liteskin Lou, attending the event through his media outlet Live with Liteskin Lou reflected on the type of impact he had on him when he spoke with correspondent Maria-Isabelle Parada interview seen below:

Not only did Garcia have an impact by the way he fought in the ring, and with his creating a platform for the next generation of stars by founding Swift Promotions but he also gave back to the community as well as he gave his voice to the Susan G. Komen Foundation as well.

When it comes time for the next generation of stars that were a part of the Farewell to Brooklyn fight night, there were names that were familiar to fans of the boxing coverage that is on the site so far as names such as Keith Colon and Damian Knyba were a part of the fight card.

With Maria-Isabelle Parada in attendance and covering the event in person she got to do an interview with one of the winners of the night in Quincey Williams seen below:

During that fight Williams was able to see a stoppage victory against Chris Rodriguez to improve to a 6-0 record.

It was days after the fight that conversations on social media started to begin as if Garcia has the type of Resume to be considered for the Boxing Hall of Fame.

What Danny and his team does next to continue to grow the sport of boxing are going to be the only things to determine what is fate is going to be as there is eager anticipation as to what his company Swift Promotions can do next in terms of fight cards.

Can a guy like Danny be able to run a show in his home town of Philadelphia and get the sport promoted there, and or what would be some other places where Swift Promotions can be seen?

Those and many other things are going to be a huge part of the legacy along with the Iconic moment at the Barclays Center with Swift raising his hands in victory after the full circle moment of the Four round Knockout of Garcia.
