In what was an intense and physical night at Yankee Stadium the Leagues Cup run for the Boys in Blue fell to Toluca by the score of 2-1.
New York City FC had all the momentum and positive energy on the side of the franchise at the start of the night, as they played to the style that thrilled fans for most of the 2025 season thus far.

Things were so physical and intense and fans even got to see the two franchises get into a bit of a spat during the second half, which led to an even more passionate style in the Second Half.
