After two rough road stretches where the team faced Hub City and Greensboro, they were able to make a return to Coney Island to face Jersey Shore.
The homestand was a bumpy one for the guys as in the first two games they saw a 7-4 loss and a 5-3 loss before blanking the Blue Claws in Game three by a final of 4-0
It was then the start of the Month of August and the team having two of the more fan friendly promotional days in the Seinfeld and the Moana Night.
While the Moana night is one that is gaining momentum, it was the Seinfeld night that is getting the Cyclones a ton of love and appreciation. Especially for the fact that they have an Elaine Dance Off, where those in attendance dress and present the best awkward dance of the night.
The homestand was so popular that during the course of the three games in August the team was able to see a crowd of 16,617.

On the field the guys made things close in terms of score, even going extra innings on the finale held on Sunday, as it was a tough 3-1 loss prior to them going on the road to take on Hudson Valley.
The guys can get back to the regularly scheduled six-game schedule after having things mixed up on them during the month of July.
What is going to be fascinating is that with the fact that the Cyclones have somewhat new faces on the squad, how can they get acclimated to the rivalry against Hudson Valley.
One of the new faces in Coney Island getting a chance to play on Sunday was Onix Vega, and thus far is doing well as he has a hit in 3 of the 4 games played.
Yohairo Cuevas is going to be a feel-good story for the Mets Franchise, as he is from the New York area. Cuevas was able to tally his first High-A RBI in his Brooklyn Debut on Tuesday and also got his first Cyclones hit on Friday.
The start of the rivalry series between Brooklyn and Hudson Valley starts on Tuesday at 6:35 p.m. Starting on the mound that day for the Cyclones is going to be Joel Díaz, as the righty has a 4-3 record to go along with a 3.69 ERA and 78 strikeouts.
Brooklyn returns back to Coney Island on August 12 to host Hub City.
