Relentless was the exact right word for the New York Red Bulls in the guys 5-3 victory against the New England on Wednesday night.

After the triumph and exuberating that was the word that Daniel Edleman one of the gamechangers implemented in the media scrum to describe the team, and that was the exact right way to describe the guys.

It was like a switch was turned on after the Half, as the guys seem to have awoken from the slump that they were in.

The guys were in a slump for a bit struggling in the most recent road match in Philadelphia, somehow or the others they must have felt the supporters because they were able to score five goals in the first half of a regular season match for the second time in club history.

Edelman led the way along with a brace by Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Emil Forsberg continued the team’s fine play at Sports Illustrated Stadium.

We also have the following press conference featuring thoughts from Head Coach Sandro Schwarz along with Edelman, Moting, and Ronald Donkor after the team’s thrilling victory…video is compliments of the New York Red Bulls:

To show you how well the guys are playing in front of the supporters they have a seven match unbeaten streak.

For Choupo he is now tied for fifth in MLS, along with being able to score a goal in five-straight matches in Harrison.

Forsberg is going to be forever known in the Red Bulls history book as he is now in second place in franchise history for most goals scored by a midfielder in their first two seasons with the club.

One of the more impressive performances from the squad came from Donkor as he showed a great energy throughout the match.

The subs for the squad were vital as well, as when Julian Hall came into play, he was a part of a huge moment in being able to help the team earn a PK in the 88th minute.

Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel made his 150th career MLS appearance for the Red Bulls in tonight’s match.

It’ll be a quick turnaround for the guys as they go to the training pitch and prepare for the next match to be played against Inter Miami on 7/19/25. The start of the match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
