Highlights from the MLW Summer of Beasts event:

When both Dijak and Dyer made the debuts within MLW everyone wondered when they would win gold, if it’d be individually and or as a Tag Team. Well it turned to be Tag Gold as the duo now known as the Skyscrapers are the new champions.

There were a ton of great singles matches as Brock Anderson, Yuki Kamifuku and others all shined, but there was some huge news coming from MLW.

Starting with the signing of the lighting quick Diego Hill, as he was so impressive that he signed his contract with the company with Cesar Duran in the ring after his incredible match.

Then the sold-out crowd went bonkers with the return of MJF to the company. It was shortly after an intense match with Mistico were CONTRA warriors stormed the ring, but one of those warriors wasn’t really from Contra as one of the Pillars of AEW made a stunning return to the company in where he made his name.

MJF revealed a Mistico mask before unmasking himself and getting everyone within Melrose to chant Holy S$%T with his arrival. MJF and Mistico had themselves a 20-star match during the AEW Grand Slam Mexico event.

The heated rivarly continues between the two and it should be epic to see what happens next.

After that it was a surprise Triple Threat between Ultimo Guerrero retaining his belt against Hammerstone and the newly entered Matthew Justice.

Justice cut an epic promo proclaiming his spot in the championship bout, and Duran being the ever so wise matchmaker booked the Triple Threat much to the delight to those in attendance.

Then it was time for the Main Event, and it was one that everyone was talking about at Matt Riddle took on KENTA. It was a close call for Riddle in defending his strap, as KENTA showed why he is going to be in the hunt for gold in MLW, but at the end of the day it was Riddle coming through with the victory.

Ever the sportsman though Riddle celebrated with KENTA and Tom Lawlor afterward along with the rest of the crowd in Queens.

The folks at MLW are going to go on the road now as they head to Dallas to Present Fightland, then to LA to present Slaughterhouse, and after that they go to Chicago to present Lucha Apocalypto.
