Top Rank Shows Jersey Power and thriller of Main Event with Mielnicki Jr and Gardzielik

With a thrilling return to the Prudential Center the folks at Top Rank Boxing went bell for bell with boxing action, including seeing Vito Mielnicki Jr. winning the WBO Global, US WBC and USBA Middleweight titles on Saturday night.

The company featured many upcoming fighters and the majority of them from the New Jersey area showed the power and ability to create a Knockout moment.

Starting with Camden, NJ-native Jamar Talley going 3-0 with his Third KO against Kurt Fleming. Then in heavyweight action Norman Neely improved his record to 16-1, 11 KO by downing James Willis. Neely hailing from Paterson, NJ kept the streak of local area products displaying the power of the punch.

Making her debut and gaining the Unanimous Decision victory was Lisandra Contreras as the Passaic, NJ native, fighting in front of loved ones and supporters got the first W against a very game Montana Weems.

If there were any fight to be possibly ran back (as the kids would say) it would be Contreas v. Weems as the ladies for sure put on a show.

In Light Heavyweight action Arijan Iseni got himself a KO against Kaine Tomilson Jr. Iseni from Staten Island, NY went to an impressive 4-0 mark with his Fourth Knockout.

The folks at Top Rank featured two fighters during the course of the Press Conference during the fight week events and they were Muadh Abdus-Salaam and Dwyke Flemmings Jr.

Both contenders showed the company why they are going to be next in line to be stars with the companies as they showed what they can do.

Salaam, got himself a victory in his Pro Debut, and that was an extra special moment for him being from the Newark area and being able to fight in the beautiful Prudential Center.

Then it was Flemmings Jr improving his record to 11-0 with his 10th KO against Demian Fernandez.

The impressive night of fights included with three action packed main events as Damian Knyba marked his return to the company with a victory against Marcin Siwy.

Siwy making his US debut is going to be a fighter to watch for, as he displayed impressive power in his own right. It was though Damian that was able to get Marcin opened up with blows to the head and a cut in the later rounds that eventually won the fight.

Then it was the co-main of Lorenzo Simpson and Jahi Tucker. Simpson coming through fight night with the gear of the night with his Kill Bill inspired gear went toe for toe in a great clash against Tucker.

It was Tucker coming through with the Unanimous Decision victory and having people clamoring for more from the middleweight. Those that watch boxing should keep an eye for both warriors as they have themselves bright futures ahead.

The excitement built to the Main Event as the folks at Top Rank paid homage to both Poland and America with each Countries National Anthems.

It was Kamil Gardzielik coming to the ring first with people in attendance proudly representing with gear featuring his image, a Polish flag with his name on it and much more.

Not to be outdone though Team Mielnicki Jr. taking over the Prudential Center with his T-Shirts, all got hyped with the arrival with the Prince of New Jersey.

Vito coming through with a personalized New Jersey Devils Jersey got himself the Unanimous Decision victory and gaining the WBO Global, US WBC and USBA Middleweight Titles.

The folks at Top Rank are heading to Montreal before returning to New York City during the Month of July to present Xander Zayas taking on Jorge Garcia.
