It was in the first half that the guys opened up the pace of the match as Maxi Moralez opened up the scoring.

From there it was all about maintaining the possession of the ball and making sure that Atlanta didn’t find the back of the net, even though there were a few nail-biting moments that goalkeeper Tomás Romero were able to turn away.

After the half it was all energy and momentum for the team as a Hannes Wolf brace along with goals from Mounsef Bakrar capped the victory.

From there it was all about a coordinated defensive effort that rewarded Romero with his first shutout.

Thanks to the victory the guys are now in fifth place in the MLS standings with an 8-6-4 record with rivals the Philadeplhia Union currently holding the top spot.

It is going to be a bit of a wait for the next match for the squad as they head to Stade Saputo to take on Montreal on June 28 before returning to Yankee Stadium to host Toronto on July 3.
