After Split results on the Road the Cyclones return to Coney Island for series against Asheville

The Brooklyn Cyclones (39-17) return back to Coney Island and are going to be getting ready for a six-game stretch against Asheville.

Thus far any time the guys play in front of the hometown crowd they play perfectly as they won six against the Dash and the IronBirds.

When the guys were on the road in Asheville there were only two losses during the stretch that was played during May 6-11.

This series is not going to be an easy one for the guys as every game played was though starting with the opener which was a 5-4 victory, then after that it was a Game 2 6-5 loss before weather came along and postponed the series.

One of the best games played was Game 5, which was a 6-1 victory before the team saw a 12-6 loss on Game 6.

There are a ton of great storylines coming from the Cyclones including the fact that Jacob Reimer is tied for 7th in MiLB in runs (47) and tied for 10th in extra-base hits (27). Other cool stats from the Cyclones PR department include the fact that he leads the South Atlantic League in runs scored (47), slugging percentage (.566), OPS (.983) and doubles (16).

One of the trends of the team as of late is the fact that during the 7-6 victory against Wilmington on April 29 saw them steal a franchise record 9 stolen bases, courtsey of 7 players.

Starting in Game 1 for Brooklyn is going to be Lefty Jonathan Santucci as he was Drafted by the Mets in 2024 in the Second Round with the 46th Overall Pick. The Duke product thus far in 2025 has a 3-4 record to go along with a 4.32 ERA and 43 strikeouts.
