Sensational Saturday night as Red Bulls Defeat Atlanta

Striking early and gaining momentum the New York Red Bulls (8-6-3) defeated Atlanta United (4-8-5) by a final of 2-0.

Seeing goals by Cameron Harper and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

With great energy and support from those in the crowd, the guys continued to play together and did great overall as a defensive unit to keep Atlanta off the scoreboard.

Some fun facts from the Red Bulls PR Department include the fact that Harper was able to score his third goal of the season and the 12th of his career.

As for Choupo-Moting he was able to score the 10th MLS goal of the season, and that has him ranked for third in the MLS.

The milestone moment of the match came when Kyle Duncan made his 150th career appearance.

Thus far while playing at Sports Illustrated Stadium the guys now have 500 points at home, and that is the most in the MLS during the timespan.

With all the momentum and positive energy on the side of the Red Bulls there is going to now be the FIFA International break that goes from June 2 to June 10. The MLS regular season play returns to action on Saturday, June 14 at Q2 Stadium against Austin FC.
