Rainy Day Blues for NYCFC In loss to Houston

In conditions that weren’t ideal the New York City FC winning momentum got put on hold, as the guys saw a 3-0 loss to Houston at Yankee Stadium.

The guys for sure aren’t going to make excuses and as they get back to training are going to put full effort into the road trip to Nashville.

Fans are encouraged to view our photo gallery of the match…by 1495Sports:

Things the franchise is going to work on is finding that energy and hustle. Usually, the guys are on top of the ball, in this match though they were unable to do so and that is going to be something that is adjusted.

Fans are also encouraged to view the following video as Pascal Jansen discusses how things went against Houston…..video is compliments of New York City FC:

In the bright spots for the team is the fact that they were able to have a possession edge and did so for the tenth time in MLS play.

Some of the milestones from the squad include the fact that Maxi Moralez and Justin Haak, along with goalkeeper Matt Freese, were able to extend a streak of playing in every match.

The supporters are starting to see more of Aidan O’Neill and what he can bring to the team and the contributions that he can offer to the squad. The more that Aidan plays the more everyone along with the MLS is going to get to see the quality that is going to be.

Also in the second match in a row those that were in attendance got to see Keaton Parks play, which is great news as Keaton is going to be a huge part of the squad and the team seeing positive results as the rest of the year goes along.

As always the guys are going to roll up the sleeves, watch the tape and see how to readjust and regain the focus as they head to GEODIS Park on Saturday, May 31 to take on Nashville. The start of that is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
