There were also some other fascinating factoids from the NYCFC PR Department that included the fact that Matt with the W holds a 3-2-0 record against Cincinnati and he also was able to be a part of his fourth clean sheet of the season.
Scoring the goal in the match was Julián Fernández as he tallied his second of the season. Thus far Fernández has a total of three goals scored all time at Citi Field, as well as being able to equal his career high four goals in a single season.
NYCFC plays well at Citi Field as in the 20 matches they played in they have themselves a 11-3-6 mark to go along with scoring 30 goals and playing to eight clean sheets.
