It was an incredible night for all involved with the WNBA Draft as the night went along and each one of the Draftees got picked. There were so many emotions, memorable portions and even portions that surprised as anyone that watched was in for a treat.

As a matter of fact the WNBA Draft did so well in terms of storytelling that the 2025 edition was the second most watched in the history of the league.

A big reason for that was the fact that they had so many young ladies to cheer for including the next chapter in the Book of Paige, as the 2025 National Champ from UConn In Paige Bueckers wound up just where many had thought she would with the First Round Draft Pick in Dallas.

The other feel good story for those in the New York Area came when White Plains, NY product Sonia Citron  got the call to play in Washington D.C. and with the Mystics.
