Cyclones Start Road Stretch on a Winning note in Aberdeen

The Brooklyn Cyclones started the road stretch in Aberdeen with a 8-7 victory against the IronBirds.

It was a great return to form for the guys after gaining three victories in a six-game homestretch against the Hudson Valley Renegades.

Things started on a great note for the guys as they were able to pick up the first victory against the Renegades’ by a final of 7-3.

After that things got a little rough, as there was a combination of weather along with some stellar pitching by Hudson Valley that kept the bats quiet.

To conclude the guys were able to gain a 8-1 victory, before having a day off and going to Aberdeen.

In the opener against the IronBirds it was pitcher Jace Beck gaining the victory, as he sat down three batters in 1.1 IP.

As for the bats Carson Benge from Oklahoma State and the Mets First Round Pick in the 2024 Draft was able to gain three hits at the dish.

The Cyclones are going to send Brendan Girton on the hill for Game Two as the Righty is looking to pick up his first victory of the 2025 Season. Brendan is going to go up against Aberdeen Starter Michael Forret (1-0, 0.00 ERA) in a game that is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
