There are going to be very many tests when it comes time for the 2025 New York City FC squad and in the preseason match against St. Louis the guys are looking to show the fan base just how they bounce back after a loss.
The decision a 3-1 score, is one that is going to show the quality and character of the squad as the 2025 season progresses.
There were a ton of positive things that came from that preseason meeting including the fact that MLS SuperDraft picks Collin McCamy and Max Murray all earned the first preseason starts.
One of the trends coming from the preseason play thus far is the fact that the combinations between the guys when they play are looking quite brilliant, as seen in that match as a combo between Drew Baiera and Hannes Wolf was impressive.
The guys immediately went back to training and preparing as they are a day away from the final match of the Coachella Valley Invitational on Saturday, February 15 at 5:00 p.m.
Leading up to that Match Head Coach Pascal Jansen and Goalkeeper Matt Freese chatted with members of the New York media on Zoom.
