With members of the New York Jets in attendance along with 20 Littles from the Big Brother Big Sisters of Coastal and Northern New Jersey, New York Jets Defensive End Solomon Thomas had a Funtastic day planned on December 15.
Having the Funplex in East Hanover rented for the Day, he along with some special guest got to interact and do some mentoring with the ‘Littles’ that were in attendance, as they enjoyed an evening of rides, arcade games, bowling, and much more.
Thomas, being an advocate for many organizations did some bowling and going on some of the rides himself in having a day to interact with those in attendance and talk about things that are happening in school and with life in general.

It is in these interactions and moments where the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization thrives, because of mentors like Solomon those Littles that were in attendance have a chance to shape a different type of future.
They get to see and hear from guys like Solomon and see that yes they can achieve and yes they can accomplish and all of that is in thanks to mentorship.
Thomas, one of the most active current New York Jets giving back to the community is nominated for the 2024 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award and gotten nominations in the past to win the award as well, as he is someone that has a genuine and true passion for giving back to the community.
In fact, Solomon is so passionate about giving back that in 2021 he started the Defensive Line foundation.
