Highlights from the day:

Interview with the Director of Development Shana Baer:

Thomas, one of the most active members of the Jets Roster in giving back to the community, recruited Bruce Hector for what was a day of shopping and interacting with those that were at the Pantry.

Many recognizing the two stars immediately and sharing the favorite Jets moments, one fan even stating how he remembered the days of Wayne Chrebet. There were also other sports fans there in attendance that day, but all were there for another cause and that was to bond and to lift each other during the Holiday Season.

With an excitement and buzz in the air Thomas and Hector took the time to interact with those, as they selected the amazing assortment that was within what was an incredible food pantry.

The venue, not like any food pantry almost looked like a grocery food store and with the items inside being of that exact same quality. With many bright smiles abound the energy all around was positive for all that got to take a part of the day today.

The season of giving for the Jets is just getting started as the team is just unveiling all the community related efforts, in addition to the Thanksgiving Drive the team hosted the Special Olympics for the NYC based High School Unified Flag Football League, as well as an amazing Veterans Day event.
