After finishing 2023 with a 6-5 overall record and a 2-4 record in Conference Play the Fordham University Football team is currently getting ready for a new start and a new chapter and a new season.
Thus far there are a ton of indications that the 2024 squad is going to be one to watch for as CJ Montes got listed to the Preseason Payton Award Watch List along with James Conway being named to the Buck Buchanan Preseason Watch List.
Conway and Matt Jaworski were named to the Phil Steele 2024 Preseason All-Americans team.
Under the guidance of Head Coach Joe Conlin in his seventh year with the squad, as he welcomes back eight starters on both sides of the ball.

On the defensive side of the ball are Jaworski, Conway and Nahil Perkins along with Claudy Robinson back to the squad.

As for the offense they are going to get to see Montes, Ryan Joyce back to the squad.
In addition to the returners there are going to be 25 freshman that are going to get their first starts during the 2024 season in the Bronx this season.
