After waiting during the pouring rain and thunderstorm the enthusiastic and energetic crowd at Red Bull Arena as well as the guys on the pitch were rewarded with a 3-0 victory against Toronto FC in MLS Action on Saturday.
Things started in the favor of the Red Bulls as they had momentum and scoring opportunities, but just when things started to gain momentum an announcement in Harrison, New Jersey got the crowd moving for shelter as the match was in delay.
While fans walked around and waited and got food and celebrated everyone wondered in anticipation as if the match would resume again.

Thankfully after a downpouring of rain the window of clear air came around again, and the team got back to the action on the field.
It was after the delay that the guy’s regained momentum and got rewarded with a goal by Elias Manoel in the 30′ as he was assisted by Noah Eile.
After the play resumed at the half the team continued momentum and saw goals by Dennis Gjengaar and Cameron Harper.
Some of the interesting stats from the match with the information coming compliments of the Red Bulls Media Relations Department include the fact that Manoel was able to tally his fourth goal of the season along with the ninth of his MLS career. The four goals for Elias is a new single-season career high.
In the milestone moment of the night Gjengaar recorded his first career MLS goal in tonight’s match.
Manning the cage is Ryan Meara as he was able to have his third shutout of the season along with the 10th of his career.
What was fascinating for the franchise is the fact that the guys were able to see five different players aged 22 or younger to record a goal or an assist.
The Red Bulls are looking great so far as they are in third place in the MLS standings with a 9-4-7 record and get to remain at home to go up against MLS and East Coast soccer rivals D.C. United on June 29, with the start of the action scheduled at 7:30 p.m.
