One of the toughest tests when it comes time for the Boys in Blue is the fact of going up against Toronto, when it comes time for gaining points in Canada that is always one of the tougher tasks.
Well, on Saturday night MLS action NYCFC were able to do just that, as the guys were able to gain an early lead thanks to a penalty shot by Santiago Rodríguez in the 23′.
Santi is one of the guys leading the way when it comes time for scoring against Toronto as he has two. In addition, he was able to match his career high for goals during the regular season with his 5th of the season.
Then the team got to see one of the guys get rewarded in the 44′ when Malachi Jones found the back of the net for his first MLS goal.

Even though the home team in Toronto scored one final goal it was the Boys in Blue standing tall and gaining a huge three points on the road.
This is probably one of the key moments when it comes time for the franchise as New York has only lost one of their five most recent matches. Throughout this time.
