With an enthusiastic and passionate crowd at Red Bull Arena, the New York Red Bulls (4-1-5) showed a ton of resilience and heart in the 1-1 Draw against the Vancouver Whitecaps (5-2-2) in MLS Action on Saturday.
Prior to the start of the action the Red Bulls took time to say thank you to Forward Brian White for his time in the New York Area. White a Flemington, New Jersey native got drafted by his hometown club on January 19, 2018, in the first round of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft.
Well, it didn’t take White and Vancouver very long to get the scoring going as in the 15′ he found the center of the box as he got a great opportunity on assists by Ryan Raposo and Pedro Vite.
The Red Bulls though showed a ton of potential and promise throughout the First Half of play and wound-up heading into the locker room leaders in several categories including Possession % by a tally of 61.8- 38.2 %, shots by a 8-6 margin, shots on goal 4-1 and total passes 354-207.
Thanks to the effort that the team had along with some great strategy the team tied the night on a goal by Lewis Morgan in the 56′ on an assist by Emil Forsberg.
One of the things noted in the match is the chemistry that Morgan, Forsberg and Dante Vanzeir shown, as the trio were combining very nicely on the pitch and creating some wonderful chances for each other.

Even though the Red Bulls do have three draws in a row, it is the combination of the fact that they are leading in statistical categories along with some of the creativity they are having on the pitch that is going to get them back into the win column.
The guys are going to be looking over the tape to see what they can do differently as they are getting ready for a huge road match that is going to take place on Saturday, May 4 at Chase Stadium against Inter Miami CF.

Messi scored twice along with tallying an assist in breaking the previous record for the most goal contributions in a player’s first seven games to start a season, while also being the first player to find the back of the net in multiple goal contributions in five straight matches.
