In the Second Day of the Atlantic 10 Tournament the bracket to determine the next steps towards the eventual crowning of a champion took place, as once again the Barclays Center Sizzled with College Hoops action.
Starting the day off strong was the battle and eventual victory of Saint Joseph’s as they defeating George Mason in the battle of Philadelphia and DMV area Colleges. Leading the way For Saint Joseph’s is
Cameron Brown with his 16 points including a 6 for 9 shooting performance. Rasheer Fleming followed with 14 points, and Lynn Greer III rounded all scoring with 13 points.
George Mason saw several impressive scoring performances including the play of Baraka Okojie as he led with his 22 points and six rebounds. Amari Kelly showcased an overall performance with his 14 points and four blocks and Darius Maddox rounded the scoring with his 10 points.

Up next for Saint Joseph’s is going to be a battle against the top-seeded Richmond in the First Round of the Quarterfinals on March 14 with the start of the action scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
The Second Game was a thriller as St. Bonaventure defeated La Salle 75-73, things were a bit of a nailbiter as the Explorers almost by the threads of the net missed the game tying goal but at the end of the day it was the Bonnies coming through with the victory.
Leading the way for St. Bonaventure is Mika Adams-Wood with his 15 points, followed by Charles Pride with his 13 points and Chad Venning rounding the scoring with 12 points.
As for the Explorers they were led by Jhamir Brickus as he filled up the stat sheet with his 18 points and five assists performance.
The Bonnies are going to be featured in the third game of the Quarterfinals as they are going to take on the Second Seeded Loyola Chicago.
Then in the finale it was Duquesne and the team’s stellar defensive play keeping a very energetic Saint Louis team at bay with a 83-73 victory. Jimmy Clark III showcased his shooting style by leading the scorers with his 20 points and going 4 from 7 from 3-point range.
Up next for Duquesne is a chance to go up against the No 24-ranked Dayton in the fourth game of the Quarterfinals with the tip time scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
