In front of a packed house at Madison Square Garden the St. John’s Men’s Basketball (16-12, 8-9) team stormed past No. 15/15 Creighton (20-8, 11-6) by a final of 80-66 during the team’s second-annual Johnnies Day in front of 12,061 fans.
The team as a whole was able to impress with a 47.2 % from the field was able to connect on 32 of the 34 field goals inside the 3-point arc. In addition to that they also were able to go 10-for-10 from the free-throw line.
Jordan Dingle is putting in some impressive work for the Red Storm as between the game against Georgetown and Creigton he was able to score 22-points and 18-points respectively. Glenn Taylor Jr was able to net a career-high 10 rebounds.

In the impressive team stats of the game the team as a whole was able to record 14 assists on the 19 made field goals.

As for Creighton Alexander led the way in scoring with his 32 points, while Ryan Kalkbrenner and Baylor Scheierman were able to tally 12 points each.
The Red Storm is going to next be in action on Wednesday against Butler and on Tuesday against DePaul before returning to Madison Square Garden to go up against Georgetown on Saturday, March 9 with the start of the game scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
