AEW World’s End Thrills Fans as Metro Area Pro Wrestlers Shine

Featuring the top stars in the World of Pro Wrestling at Nassau Coliseum, AEW World’s end Thrilled fans in what is an action-packed night on Sunday.

There is a great history of Pro Wrestling at Nassau Coliseum as they hosted WrestleMania 2 on April 7, 1986, then later on the Coliseum hosted Monday Night Raw on June 13, 2011.

World’s End is the first PPV that AEW held in the New York Area, and featured many stars from the Metropolitan Area including those that are trained at a facility called Create A Pro Wrestling, located in Hicksville, New York.

The action got started with AEW Zero Hour as Willow Nightingale took on Kristen Stadtlander in a competitive and fun bout that showcased both stars.

Then AEW treated fans to a video package from Serena Deeb as the star is on her way back to the company.

After that it was the 20-Man Battle Royal as each guy shined in the spotlight and put on one heck of a performance.

There were a ton of matches that fans looked forward too including the one between Hook and Wheeler Yuta. Combining a technical and smash mouth style of wrestling both guys impressed…as the Coliseum was fully behind Hook.

After fans got into the night the action continued as Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, Mark Briscoe & Daniel Garcia vs. Jay White, Rush, Jay Lethal & Brody King. There are so many dream matches that came from this bout, as fans started to drool over some of the matchups that could happen in AEW’s future as the company progresses.

In what was an intriguing singles match Andrade El Idolo took on Miro as the betrayal of CJ Perry against her client Andrade is something that got fans curiosity peaked. Does this mean that Perry is going to be exclusively representing her husband Miro, is she going to take on new clients? Tons of questions are abound.

Fans then got to see ‘Timeless” Toni Storm taking on Riho for the AEW Women’s World Championship. That is one that fans really got into, as the fast-paced style of Riho went against Toni who tried to and eventually wore down a very game challenger.

In the reaction of the night Swerve Strickland got the Coliseum rocking as he defeated “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes. Swerve looked great, ultra confident and strong as it is going to be interesting to see what direction AEW is going to do with the young lion going forward.

Another fun moment for the fans is when Sting, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara & Chris Jericho faced Big Bill, Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs & Konosuke Takeshita. There was a special moment afterward as Sting took time to thank fans and vice versa as the Icon is on his way to his final matches within AEW.

Women’s Wrestling fans were then treated to Juila Hart taking on Abadon. For those that have not had the chance to experience it yet…the entrance for Juila Heart is one that provided goosebumps and the two young stars impressed many within the arena.

In the Match of the Night Edge took on Christian for the AEW TNT Championship. For those that enjoy storytelling, action and extreme wrestling Edge and Christian provided that and more.

The Banger match of the night went to Eddie Kingston vs. Jon Moxley in the finale of the Continental Classic. There is one chop that Eddie connected with on Jon that fans could probably hear from Montauk, Long Island and afterward fans were treated to a bit of history as Eddie became the first Triple Crown Champion in AEW history.

Finally, the night wrapped up in the match that all of fans were looking forward to the most as MJF took on Samoa Joe, there was a ton of emotions swirling around MJF as there are questions on if the young lion may have wrestled his last match with AEW.

Coming to ringside to cheer his friend on is Adam Cole and little did MJF realize what that moment meant to him and what would happen afterward.

In a very spirited match in where Samoa Joe looked strong and winning the AEW Championship, MJF stunned and wondering what his future may hold…then was greeted by the Devils Masked Associates.
Just when it looked as if the Masked Associates were going to possibly attack both MJF and Adam Cole, it then turned out that it was Cole that was the Devil the whole time as the star betrayed his friend for the AEW Championship.

Surrounding Cole is Mike Bennett, Matt Taven, Roderick Strong and Wardlow as they were unveiled as the Devils Masked Men.

Fans were intrigued to see the Group being formed and there is going to be speculations as to what they may be called and what the plans for them are going to be. One of the most interesting moments is when

Wardlow powerbomed MJF as he had promised to take away everything that MJF worked so hard for.
After much celebrating by the newly formed group, MJF, staggered, stunned and betrayed by his friend then looked around Nassau Coliseum.

The moment that struck most in attendance is when MJF looked at the Devils Mask and all of the thoughts that could be in his mind as would he have ever expected someone that put in so much time and effort into a friendship to betray his trust.

With all the fans in attendance feeling great after what is an action-packed night, it is expected for AEW to hopefully be back at Nassau Coliseum again in the future, as the attendance for Worlds End had to have been close to a full house.

In all it is another memorable night for AEW in the Metropolitan Area, and the great news is that the company is going to be back at the Prudential Center on January 3 to get the New Year kicked off on a great note.
