In what was an incredible day at the Barclays Center on Sunday the NABC Showcase brought the best and brightest in the world of College Basketball in a quartet of action.
As the Barclays Center rocked with an incredible atmosphere from the start and the finish, there were teams both local and from various parts of the US that got to be showcased in one of New York’s premier Arena’s.
Featured in the showcase are North Texas, Fordham, Colorado, #15 Miami, Boston College, St John’s, Temple and UAlbany and they all showed out in what was some incredible action.
Starting off the showcase is Fordham and North Texas as these two teams battled to a close 60-59 victory. In what is one of the more electric starts to the event as Senior Abdou Tsimbila’s dunked the Rams to the victory.

Then fans in Brooklyn got themselves a treat as Colorado took on #15 Miami and won by a final of 90-63. Leading the way for Colorado is Tristan da Silva as led the way with 22-points and 10-rebound double-double performance.

St. John’s then came into the building and made things close against a very tough Boston College team, but ultimately lost by the score of 86-80. The Red Storm is led by Joel Soriano as he had his fifth double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
As for the Boston College Eagles they were led by Quinten Post as he scored 14 points and was one assist shy of a triple-double.

Then fans got thrilled by the UAlbany Men’s Basketball team taking on Temple, as it was the Owls gaining the victory by the score of 78-73. Leading the way for the Owls is Hysier Miller with his game-high 28 points. AS for UAlbany they were led by Sebastian Thomas with his 18 points.

One of the cool things about the event was that all of the teams that attended got to play at the Barclays Center home of the Brooklyn Nets and Lonnie Walker IV was in attendance to check out his alma mater University of Miami in action, and stuck around to catch the game between Temple and UAlbany.
Even more amazing is the fact that fans at the Barclays got to see these top teams all in action and showing them along with the world thanks to the YES Network along with networks like CBS and ESPN showcasing their skills.
The Barclays Center is going to get back to the NBA Schedule on December 20 prior to hosting College Basketball action on December 28 as UAlbany and LIU clash in a battle of the New York Area College Basketball teams.
