As the New York Jets (4-6) head into the Week 12 clash against the Miami Dolphins (7-3) the team is coming off of a tough Week 11 loss to the Buffalo Bills by a final of 32-6 and a Week 10 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders by a score of 16-12.
One of the trends for the team to try to get back into is the fact that the defense has got to step up and play they were earlier in the year so that the team can get back into the game.
In the team’s three losses the team has gotten outscored 75-25, which is going to be something that has got to be corrected if the team wants to get back to their winning ways.
The defense is going to face their toughest test to date though as the Dolphins are No. 1 in scoring (20.5 pts/g) and the rush offense ranks second with 143 yards/game.
There is going to be a change in the Quarterback position on Friday as Tim Boyle gets the nod against Miami.
The team is expected to wear their stealth black uniforms to celebrate Black Friday and are expected to have artist songwriter and actress Nicole Raviv leading the National Anthem.
The team is working hard at practices as of late and trying to figure out the strategy needed to be able to get back to their winning ways.
On Wednesday the team had WR Garret Wilson talked to journalist and give his thoughts to what the team is going to need to do to get back to their winning ways.
Wilson thus far has complied 2023 stats that includes 57 receptions, 651 yards and two touchdowns in his second year in the NFL.
During the team’s media session, Wilson shared about how the teams in the NFL are making adjustments to him and the way that he plays and the fact that he himself is going to step up and improve to help the team.
There have been highs and lows when it comes time for the play of Wilson, that includes the team-leading receiving numbers of 103 targets, 57 catches and 651 yards.

Wilson hopes to be one of many to benefit from having a QB like Boyle in the playmaking position as Tim is known for his precision. It is going to be ultimately up to Boyle to jumpstart the offense.
All of the Jets are impressed by Boyle and the way he is playing and the fact that he is becoming more of the vocal and emotional leader on the squad. Boyle has a ton of NFL experience as he played in 18 games with the Packers, Lions, Bears and now the Jets.
The good news for the Jets is the fact that Boyle already has reps with the squad as he came into the game against the Buffalo Bills in the Fourth Quater and throwing for 33 yards and completing seven of 14 pass attempts.
With a week of practice under his belt he and the team bonded even more, and it should be interesting to see what the QB can do with the team’s offense.
This week is a big one for Gang Green as a loss all but eliminates them from the playoffs. In order for the team to grab a spot it is up to the combination of the new look offense and the team’s defense stepping up to get them to the dance.
The stage is set for the New York Jets as they take on the Miami Dolphins on 11/24 at MetLife Stadium with the start of the game scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
