Looking to rebound in the Bronx are back at Yankee Stadium after their six-game road trip. Yankees were defeated by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the three-game match up with the Angels winning all three games in the set. This was a season low for the Yankees.
Yankees looking to rebound in the Bronx and are currently playing in a six-game home stand against the Kansas City Royals. The first game of the three series matchup played on Friday; the Yankees defeated the Royals 5-4.
Helping to lead the way on the offense is Franchy Cordero (1-for-4, 1R, 1HR, 1RBI) as he has homered back-to-back in the last three games, along with hitting a solo home run in the second inning. Also having a big day at the plate was Gleyber Torres (1-for-4, 1R, 1HR, 1RBI) as he hit a solo home run in the fifth inning.
Center Fielder Billy McKinney hit a three-run HR in the fourth inning. That homer is his fifth career game with at least 3RBI and first since his career-high 5R. A scoreless ninth inning was pitched by Right-Handed Pitcher Clay Holmes, as his performance on the mound earned him is 12th save of the year.
One of the more impressive performances for the Yankees has been the bat of D.J. LeMahieu, as in the last ten games LeMahieu has hit in nine of his last 10 games (1-for-3, 1R, 1BB) (since 7/6), batting .324 (12-for-37) with 3R, 3 doubles and 2BB. The next two games for the Yankees are going to be played on Saturday 7/22 and Sunday 7/23 against the Royals.

The nonprofits organizations Safe Passage 4 Ukraine (www.sp4ukraine.org) and Kind Deeds ((www.kinddeeds.org) has helped these injured heroes with the necessary assistance and physical recovery aid, including state-of-the-art prosthetics, enabling them to reclaim their lives and regain independence.
