Playing with a great burst of speed and energy, the guys eventually found their scoring touch and soared to a 4-0 victory against one of MLS best clubs in Atlanta United (7-5-8)

With the team having the momentum they cashed in on an early goal by Daniel Edelman, as he is going to be soon celebrated in bobblehead form on July 8, as he blasted a left footed shot into the bottom right corner.

Edelman enjoys playing at Red Bull Arena as thus far both of the MLS goals that he has been able to tally have come in Harrison, New Jersey.

Daniel, is a Homegrown product of the Red Bulls Academy System and has been able to make a name for himself through the New York Red Bulls II squad, and eventually working his way up the system.

The squad thanks to his popularity is going to have a bobblehead night in the likeness of Edleman, but dressed as the famous Marvel character Star Lord in honor of the upcoming Superhero night the franchise is having on July 8.

Edelman shared these thoughts on the emotions he had felt after scoring the first goal in the match:

Red Bulls Captain Sean Nealis shares these thoughts on what his emotions were when the team got the early lead in the eventual 4-0 victory against Atlanta:

Midfielder Omir Fernandez shares these thoughts when he and the team started to find their confidence in the match:

Cásseres Jr., made a splash on his big day with a beauty of a goal in the 45′, getting a right footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom left corner. Cristian has been able to tally 14 goals during the course of his MLS career thus far, and one could tell that when he had put his back in the net the squad had full momentum at the time.

Then to seal the victory Frankie Amaya, coming in as a sub in the match, immediately paid dividends by scoring a brace in the 78′ and 90′.

In the net, going up against one of the better scoring teams in MLS , Carlos Coronel had his fifth shutout of the season, along with his 26th during his time as a goalkeeper with the Red Bulls. Coronel is moving up in the history books of the Red Bulls, as he is in sole possession of second place in history passing Tony Meola.

Up next for the New York Red Bulls is a road match on July 1 to go up against another tough team in the Columbus Crew, before they make their way back to New York for the aforementioned match on July 8 versus the New England Revolution.
