Things went just about as standard as any weigh-in would. With two of the fighters from Puerto Rico representing their country by having their countries flag around their shoulders. Even Xander Zayas got in on the fun of celebrating his country as one of his team members proudly waved the Puerto Rican flag in the background as he made weight.
As fight by fight made weight the buzz got louder and louder as the day quickly got to the co-main events. The first half of the co-main event features Ronald Cruz and Zayas. The two standing in front of the crowd and media with much fanfare were gentlemen and after the face off greeted each other with respect.
