Taylor, is the junior welterweight king boxing his way to a 19-0 record with 13 KO’s, isn’t going to be in for an easy test this Saturday taking on Lopez has he has an 18-1 record and also has knocked out 13 opponents.
Josh has been able to compile an impressive resume thus far as he went on a four -fight run in where he collected the undisputed junior welterweight champion. In that run he was able to gain victories over Ivan Baranchyk, Regis Prograis and Jose Ramirez.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the pond, Lopez has been making a name for himself in the United States. One of the quickest victories came on December 2019, when he captured the IBF title as he knocked out Richard Commey in the second round. Then in October came one of the more memorable fights that Teofimo has been able to be in as he outlasted the pound-for-pound king Vasiliy Lomachenko.
Thanks to their impressive performances Top Rank Boxing set things up to where these two combatants can meet and in one of the most iconic places in the world for Boxing in MSG. Since the day the fight was set the duo have been getting into a verbal clash with the other.
Things got especially spicy at the Press Conference held at Madison Square Garden as the member of the NYPD had to step in to calm the two combatants down:
