Gotham FC Looks to get a victory on the road against Orlando

After the emotional Home Opening loss to the OL Reign on April 1 the ladies of Gotham Fc are looking to rebound on the road against the Orlando Pride.

These two franchises are going to play at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Florida with the start time set for 7:00 p.m.
Returning to the roster is Lynn Williams, Kristie Mewis and Kelly O’Hara as they were a part of the U.S. Women’s National Team for a pair of friendlies.

Gotham FC and Orlando are no strangers to the other, as they have played against the other in 19 matches. Thus Far Gotham has fared well having a 7-5-7 record against Orlando.

Fans of Gotham FC are encouraged to check out these thoughts from Head Coach Juan Carlos Amorós :

One of the highlights thus far for Gotham FC is the play of New Jersey-native Kristen Edmonds, who signed with the club as a free agent in the offseason. In the two games she has played thus far she has logged 180 minutes.

There is a bit of history with Edmonds and Orlando, as at one point in time the defender was a part of the Pride roster, where she made 30 appearances and tallying nine goals.

It will be interesting to see the style of play that Gotham FC will display as they go up against Orlando, as the ladies will be hungry for a comeback victory on the road.
