Amazin’ Mets Day a Success on Rainy Day in New York City

Offering one of a kind experiences, and opportunities to mingle with Mets Alumni the very first ever Amazin’ Mets Day was a success on a rainy Saturday in New York City.

Featuring a mix of fun and informative events all around the New York area, Mets fans had opportunities to get free gear, have access to some of the most iconic locations in the New York area and in addition meet and greet with some of the all time greats that were on the team.

One of the featured events happened at Citi Field as the franchises non-profit foundation the Amazin’ Mets Foundation was on hand to celebrate Little Leaguers and give them some beautiful new gear.

Those in attendance at Citi Field were treated to cotton candy, games of Cornhole, Jenga, Connect Four and lots more.

In addition, fans had a chance to interact with all of the greats that were in town, as alumni Turk Wendell, Mookie Wilson, Tim Teufel, Glendon Rusch, Roger McDowell, Howard Johnson were all in attendance.
