Eastern Conference Foes collide as New York City FC takes on D.C. United

New York City FC was able to take a huge first step towards positive momentum with their victory over Inter Miami. In a few hours they are hoping to take another as they take on Eastern Conference Foes D.C. United.

One of the things the boys in blue are hoping to have is a winning culture on their various home pitches during the course of the 2023 season, especially at Yankee Stadium. It will be a tough test though as D.C. United who has themselves a new roster who is hungry for their first away win of the regular season.

The Boys in Blue and D.C. United are looking forward to renewing their rivalry with each other. As thus far NYCFC has fared well against the visiting side as they have won 10 of the six overall matches. In addition during the 2022 Regular Season, NYCFC and D.C. was able to take a win in each of the two matches they played.

New York was able to earn a victory in the first meeting in May at Audi Field by a final of 2-0, prior to a 2-1 victory that the Boys in Blue had in August.
