Roster set for USA Basketall Men’s Junior National Minicamp

Basketball fans will have a chance to see the future of Men’s Basketball, as the USA Basketball team announcing 61 athletes who will be participating in the USA Basketball Junior Team Minicamp. The camp will be held on March 31-April 2 during the 2023 NCAA Men’s Final Four.

The participants of the minicamp will represent high school graduating classes of 2024, 2025 and 2026. The selection process was a fascinating one as USA Basketball Men’s Developmental National Team Committe were the ones who chose the roster.

For those participating they will have a chance to practice on-court drills and scrimmage, in addition the Junior National Team members will participate in a series of educational programs that is presented by USA Basketball and the NCAA.

“USA Basketball cherishes opportunities like these at the men’s junior national team minicamps to work with elite high school players to assist the advancement of their basketball journey,” said Sean Ford, committee chair and USA Basketball’s Men’s National Team director. “It’s awesome to have so many returning gold medalists and previous camp participants.”

The roster will include Annor Boateng, Carter Bryant, David Castillo, Kanon Catchings, Zoom Diallo, Johnuel “Boogie” Fland, Dylan Harper, Ian Jackson, Richard “Tre” Johnson, Ryan “RJ” Jones, Karter Knox, Tahaad Pettiford, Jamari Phillips, Cameron Scott and Robert Wright III.

The class of 2025 will be represented Mikel Brown Jr., Jerry Easter II, Jeremiah Fears, Jeremiah Green, Jalen Haralson, Isiah Harwell, Jasper Johnson, Nyk Lewis, Calvin Murphy III, Chris Nwuli, Koa Peat, Darryn Peterson, Jayden Quaintance, TJ Stuttley, Meleek Thomas, Bryson Tiller, Jaden Toombs, Nigel Walls, Sebastian Williams-Adams and Caleb Wilson.

For the class of 2026, Latrell Allmond, JaShawn “JJ” Andrews, Alijah Arenas, Tajh Ariza, TreVaun Clark, Alex Constanza, Jason Crowe Jr., AJ Dybantsa, Sam Funches, Caleb Gaskins, Emmanuel Green, Cam Holmes, Caleb Holt, Jayden Johnson, Brandon McCoy, Dylan Mingo, Jalen Montonati, Chidi Nwigwe, Adam Oumiddoch, Trent Perry, Jaxon Richardson, Deron Rippey Jr., Stephen Spurlock, Quincy Wadley, Jamison White and Elijah Williams will be in attendance.

These will be the future stars of Basketball, as they all have USA Basketball experience. Amongst some of the stars include Castillo, Fland, Jackson, Knox and Peat were all representatives of USA Basketball during the 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup.

In addition, Castillo, Jackson and Jones were a part of the U.S. capturing their seventh consecutive FIBA Americas U16 Championship gold medal in 2021.

These players will have a chance to learn from some great basketball minds as Dominic Amorosa, Rob Brost, Scott Fitch, Tony Irons, Mike Jones, Chet Mason, Al Thiero, Ras Vanderloo, Charlie Ward and Sharman White will all be coaches during the minicamp.
