In what is huge news for WWE fans in the United Kingdom, the WWE announced that not only will they be having their Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View, they will also bring Friday Night SmackDown to fans.

Thanks to the overwhelming demand the company felt from the Money in the Bank ticket pre-registration at the famous O2 Arena, which is located in London. The WWE is also going to bring the stars of Smackdown to the Arena.

Money in the Bank is set to be held at the O2 Arena on Saturday, July 1, while the Friday Night SmackDown show will take place on June 20.

This will be the first time that SmackDown will broadcast live and in primetime from the UK, with the show set for 8:00 p.m.

The winner of the Money in the Bank event will have a chance to go up against the champion of their choosing anytime within the next year.

The Money in the Bank event will be the first WWE Premium Live Event to be held in London in over two decades.
The last time the WWE was in the O2 Arena was on May 14, 2019, as they also had an episode of SmackDown along with the hit TV show 205 live.

In that episode there was a battle that pitted Shane McMahon, Elias, Daniel Bryan and Eric Rowan going up against Roman Reigns and The Miz.

There has been a ton of changes in the WWE program since then, but hoping to return to London will be Elias along with Roman Reigns and The Miz.

Of the trio Roman Reigns has been one of the more exciting stars to watch for and is hoping to enter into the show as the Universal and WWE Championship, as he has held the title for 893 days.
