Fans of the Washington Spirit are going to be in for a treat, as the team announced recently that it will release a Trinity Rodman bobblehead to season members as a part of the club’s 2023 season ticket holder benefits. Rodman, who has been shining with the Spirit, is now in her third season with the club, will be the first-ever to have a bobblehead made in her likeness.
This special edition Trinity Rodman bobblehead is available to Spirit season members and only while supplies last. For those purchasing tickets, the season membership grants fans to priority seating, the bobblehead, special events and more.
What is even more exciting is that for the first time the Washington Spirit will play all home games at Audi Field during the 2023 season.
“It’s pretty amazing to me that I’m going to be the first Spirit player bobblehead ever,” said Rodman. “I’m looking forward to sharing it with our fans and can’t wait to kick off the 2023 season at Audi!”
Rodman had shined since being drafted by the Spiring in the 2021 NWSL Draft, while also picking up some major accolades. Trinity has been named the league’s Rookie of the Year in 2021, in addition to having a spot in the U.S. Women’s National Team roster, recording two goals and three assists in 12 international appearances to date.
In the 2022 season, Rodman was name finalist for the Ballon d’Or Feminin, which honors the top female soccer player in the world. Through two seasons with the team, Rodman has been able to total 16 goals and 12 assists in 55 league appearances.
